The Division!

This 'Sermon on the Blog' is based on Matt.25:31-46, where Jesus gives a parable about the end of the world.

Matt.25:31

When the son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goat's on his left.

The division was not by religion, nor belief systems, nor by sexual persuasions  (gay straight),  nor race,  nor any extreme  'sinners',  perverts,  murderers,  thieves, nor by those successful at making money, or those of the poor. disabled or whole.

I remember Jesus saying to the thief on the cross."This day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

Matt.22:37  Jesus said unto him. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,

38  This is the first and great commandment.

39   And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

40   On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets

These are 'commandments' not suggestions!

The division was based only on each person's ability to follow those first two commandments.   Jesus also gave us a new commandment, That we love one another, as He has loved us.

If we do LOVE, than we will gladly serve one another also.
